I am Joop Salomons. HSE specialist with more than 30 years of experience in Health, Safety & Environment. I don’t see safety as a checklist, but as something you develop together with people, by connecting practice and policy.

I work with head and heart. Practical, thoughtful and always customized.

The name SecuDura

SecuDura is a contraction of the French sécurité (safety) and durabilité (sustainability). That name sums up exactly what I stand for: security and sustainability as two sides of the same coin. No short-term solutions, but systems and cultures that keep working.

Career & expertise

My experience in a nutshell

My career started as an environmental consultant for (municipalities/companies). I then worked for years as an HSE manager at Procter & Gamble, Forbo and Essity, among others, and as a consultant at Essity, Paramelt, Bolletje and Sunoil, among others, within food, personal care and chemicals.
